

Sadie May Stowell (BA honors PGDipLA) is an experienced and award winning Landscape Designer with a flair for imaginative and creative design work and a passion for spectacular plant combinations. Initially training in Fine Art and subsequently studying Garden Design at Pershore College of Horticulture has provided Sadie with a breadth of knowledge. Sadie combines her flair for fine art with an extensive knowledge of horticulture which she has developed through a lifetime of working with plants. Sadie uses plants as her palette with which she creates inspired planting schemes for any situation. Sadie has further studied Landscape Architecture to Post-Graduate level which has allowed her to design both large and small scale landscapes and at the same time providing breathtaking hard and soft landscape design schemes. Sadie has won numerous RHS medals for designing and building Show Gardens at ‘The Hampton Court Palace Flower Show’ and furthermore, in 2005, Sadie was the overall winner of the Channel 4 national garden design competition ‘The Great Garden Challenge’. In 2006/2007 Sadie won an award and financial backing for a piece of research called ‘SubRural’. The research is a collaborative piece of work between herself and professional artist Emma Smith. 'SubRural' was funded by Gunpowder Park through the Bright Sparks Award Scheme. |

Jay Dawson BA(Hons) PGDipLA is a Landscape Architect with a strong sense of spatial awareness that he combines with his training to create schemes with a strong sense of place that have an empathy with their surroundings. Qualified to post-graduate level, he is familiar with all aspects of Landscape Architecture from planning and Environmental Impact Assessments through to design and management of projects from inception to completion. His work with both large multidisciplinary teams and smaller design practices, has provided him with an extensive range of relevant skills. Jay has been involved with numerous projects throughout the UK and abroad ranging from wind farms, housing schemes and industrial, commercial and retail sites, down to smaller residential garden schemes. The flair and original thinking in his work combined with excellent graphic design skills allows him to deliver schemes that are both ground-breaking and inspiring. Jay has a strong belief in sustainability and protection of the environment and always ensures that his projects work in harmony with the wishes of the client and the characteristics of the environment. |
